Milkshake.
I've reached rank 14 on my Shaman. So far, I'm enjoying the leveling. I've been taking the time to read the quests. They make me smile. Especially this one (relates to this song for those of you who don't know).
I have not forgotten about my Archmage. Please don't worry. But as I can't remember being rank 14 (so so long ago) I can't quite compare the two against each other yet. What I want to say is that the Shaman is already showing more survivability, but I know that's not completely accurate. I can also get into the world more with my Shaman. This may just be the result of slowing down and reading the quests or it could be that the Greenskin zones are just more flushed out.
It also seems that when talking about scenarios Destruction seems a bit chaotic. I've noticed this on both my Order server and my Destruction server.
I happened to choose Darklands as my Destruction server and who of all people are on that server but the lovely guild Cabal (Cabal of WAR). I've been graciously accepted into their group and hope to rank up quick enough to help them out. Yay for blog friends!
On another side note, I've almost convinced a WoW friend of mine to leave that game behind. Thank you Mythic for the recruit-a-friend option.
The Dark Side.
Well, I've gone and done it. I've created my first Destruction character since WAR went live (I messed with the healing classes in beta to get a feel for what I wanted to roll). Meet Sliph the Shaman. I figured it would be wise to test both sides of my main healing class. Archmage vs. Shaman. That's how it started out anyways. Within the first 30 minutes, I was hooked.
The reason it took me so long to create a Destruction player was because of two reasons. 1) I already had a gazillion alts and 2) gender restrictions. I prefer playing female characters. Always have. With all the Greenskin classes being purely male, I had no desire to play Destruction. There was the Zealot but that possible end game beak of a head piece was not appealing. The DoK mechanic wasn't what I had in mind either. So that left the Shaman. And boy am I glad I did.
Of course, it also helped that I've been home sick for the last 2 and 1/2 days. What better to spend my time with than make a new character for the better of my blog?!
