Healer at Heart I just can't get enough of that healing power.

Another Rank Down.

Not much went on last week for me in terms of WAR (I blame it on The Sims 3).  I did reach Rank 14 and have gone back and maxed out up through Ch. 5 influence.  If the Dwarf side of Barak Varr is anything like the Greenskin side then I'm going to have a hard time of leveling there.  When I was questing there with my Shaman I was too low of a rank and it took too long to kill mobs.  It made leveling through there very frustrating (though I could have gone and done some grinding ... ugh).  I'm hoping that won't be the case this time.

Still enjoying the Runepriest though the non-RP guild I joined (on Phoenix Throne) has already started to get quiet.  Not unexpected, just sooner than I thought.  We'll see how it goes.

Another rank achieved.

I got to play Kaeleer a bit yesterday and happily reached rank 9 and RR 8.  I had enough Recruit Medallions to buy the Decimator Clogs and I'm slowly working my way towards the chestpiece.

I'm in love with the fact that I can log in after 9:00pm pacific and scenarios are still popping and people are trying to do ORvR.  I'm falling in love with Phoenix Throne more and more.

Side note: my friend has finally found the time to download and install WAR.  Let's hope these next 10 free days are filled with fun and excitement.

The Adventure Continues.

Last night I sat down and played a little more on Kaeleer, my Runepriest.

This time I focused on finishing the quests I had left in Ch. 2 but mainly wanted to work on my renown rank.  When I first queued up for the scenarios I waited about 5 minutes before giving up and logging out.  Right as I got to the 5 second mark a scenario popped and I frantically moved and smashed buttons to make sure I stopped logging out.  Once accepted and joined I was able to enter into about 5 more before quitting for the night.  Order was even on the winning side more often then not.  It was great.

I'd forgotten how hard it is to heal at such a low rank.  Armed only with a HoT, instant heal, and shield/heal I tried as hard as I could to keep people alive.  It became Destructions ultimate goal to gang up and slaughter me.  I say slaughter because after trying to kill me one and one, which didn't happen often,  they decided it was better to insta-kill me instead.  Oh but what fun I was having!  Though I never made top healer I was usually second or third.  I'm interested to see how well I do once I'm more towards the level cap for Tier 1.

I reached rank 7 and am now RR 6 (from 0).  Let's see how much further I can get tonight.

Altitis has struck again.

My guild/alliance seems dead when I finally get to log in and with scenarios not popping or exciting oRvR happening, I've become bored.  It's no fun not having people to play with.  I don't even want to play my alts on that server (Vortex) being as it feels like a very lonely grind.

So with my Archmage sitting at RR 31 and not moving, I've decided to try out a different server: Phoenix Throne.

I've created a Runepriest (Kaeleer), already rank 5 and made a friend.  I was able to complete and enjoy the Ch. 2 PQ and gave a good shot at completing the Ch 1. PQ, as well as max out both influence bars.  On the second go-round of the Ch. 2 PQ I received a gold bag and with it chose the chest piece which gave me an unlock in my ToK.  A great start to hopefully a long and exciting journey into RP.

This will be my first real attempt at role playing.  I'm not a very good "on the spot" thinker so we'll see how well I do.  But I've always loved coming up with the background of a character and have many of those lying about (though mainly for WoW).  I've got the basic idea of where I'd like to go with Kaeleer but have yet to work on my background.  That's what I usually use my 45 minute drive home for.  I should have a basic background by tonight.

I'm hoping my Archmage doesn't get dusty since I seem to have a later play time than most on my server.  With WAR being dependant on population, it looks like Delaunay will have sit on the back burner until Land of the Dead releases.  Which, by the way, looks freakin' amazing.
