About Me
I started this site in response to the Age of Blogging initiated by the Warhammer Online blog community. It was and still is a wonderful group of people to get to know. Since then I've moved away from WAR and have decided to make this blog about more than just one game.
My MMO history starts with Guild Wars. I loved how it looked and I leveled two characters to max level. I never played long enough to get into the guild arenas where GW is supposed to shine. After that I moved to World of Warcraft. I immediately fell in love with the game. Shortly after that I found an amazing guild. That was the beginning of 3+ years of good times and making new friends. In then end though, some people left and it just wasn't the same. Guild drama had taken over. It was around then I started getting into the Warhammer Online game. About a month before release I quit WoW and took a break from gaming. I moved right into WAR and was enjoying myself. I found a good guild and leveled my way to 40. Once there though, I became bored. And it wasn't because the game was lacking end game, it was because my guild was not as active as I was used to. I had a taste of something great (although extremely casual) in WoW and it just wasn't the same. I tried another guild when swapping factions but that didn't work either. So in the end, I left WAR because I was lonely.
Now I find myself in another gaming hiatus. I'm anxiously waiting the release of Aion and Champions Online though. I've pre-ordered both and have been able to participate in a couple of Aion's closed beta weekends.
Here's to many more years of fun gaming (and hopefully blogging). And healing of course!
