WCPI # 7: Tome of Knowledge.
A quick WCPI spotlight on the newest artwork from Greg over at Tome of Knowledge.
I'm always excited to see what crazy or cool art he's done and this week is no exception. Like many other his newest wallpaper makes me want to play a Zealot.
Tome of Knowledge is definitely a must read blog.

Weekly Favorite: RvR Quartermaster System.
This week I'd like to talk about the new RvR Quartermaster system introduced in 1.2.1.
I have to admit, when I first read about this being added to the game I stopped reading and went into a mini rage. All I could think was how similar this system was to WoW and how much I hated that grind. But after calming down and reading how it would actually work and then experiencing it, I have to say, I like it. It's another tool to help you get gear. An aid. That little extra oomph to make people happy.
After participating in a random keep siege this weekend, I realized this Quartermaster system might actually help me out. Yeah sure I'll need 200+ Officer Medallions to purchase any gear in my current RR level. Yeah sure it'll take me forever to collect those on my super casual play style. But! If I'm not winning a gold bag I'm at least assured two medallions. Slowly but surely I'll have that super awesome Archmage gear.
This just makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. One day I'll have that fancy gear that all those elite RvRers have. Mmm.
New look.
I have been diligently working on the look and setup I want for this blog. Meaning I stayed up way too late last night.
I thought I would run it past my audience before setting it up in HTML. Let me know what you think.
Also, if any of you know how to get around using that big long disclaimer from the fan site kit and still give Mythic credit I'm all ears.

Edit: New revision.
So far Beyond the Sands.
The current Live Event is in full swing as all the items have been revealed. Many people have already maxed out their influence for the Aviator Goggles and have either completed or almost completed all the tasks for the title unlock.
So far, I am enjoying this Live Event. I haven't been able to get much play-time in, but I have managed to get at least half the tasks completed. Plus what could be better than Egyptian themed content?! I'm close to gaining max influence for the goggles and I'm hoping I can get through all the tasks for the title "The Eternal" this weekend. It's been quite enjoyable to run out to Thunder Mountain, join a warband (as you're almost guaranteed to find there) and help slaughter (or heal in my case) all the massing Destruction.
The only gripe I have would be the Destruction out in Thunder Mountain killing me while I'm solo. I'm just trying to finish the darn quests in that zone. So /boo /hiss on the quests in RvR areas. I'll have to round up some guildies next time I try. Always a good idea to go with backup.
Now that I've collected the trophy from this event I'm going to have to reorganize and redo how I've got all the other trophies displayed. It's just not jiving with the current setup. Too bad we can only have 5 trophies slotted. I've also managed to finish the quest for the pocket item (my first!): Bone Ward. A long cooldown (60m I think) but cool to have.
Another exciting Live Event to get players together. Good job Mythic.
