Weekly Favorite: Libram of Insight & Adventurer’s Handbook.
So much for getting my new weekly post out well, weekly. Stupid flu.
I'll just have to post this weeks early:
These little beauties have just about pushed me to rank 40 which I'm hoping to reach this week. With two charges left I'm sure I can accomplish that. I've been holding them for the final climb to max rank. I'll also be able to use these on any character I create from here on out. /cheer
The first (Libram) was for buying the Collector's Edition and the second (Handbook) was for purchasing the Atlas/Prima Guide. I'm not yet sure if I'll be able to get a second Handbook since both the Atlas and the Guide come with a code for the same item. If anyone knows, please comment. Otherwise I'll post again when I find out.
Recruit-A-Friend.
With Call to Arms in full swing and most recently implemented patch 1.2, Mythic is offering a 10-day free trial. This (among other bloggers doing the same) got me thinking. I have Recruit-A-Friend keys just sitting. Not to let them go to waste, if anyone of you readers out there would like to grab one of these and jump into this wonderful world of WAR, look no further. Just send me an email at healeratheart@gmail.com and I'd be happy to help you out.
Not only would I love to bring more people to this game, I'd also be lying if I didn't have a little incentive. I'd love to have a couple of the rewards that go along with getting new players to sign up. I was a collector of non-combat pets in World of Warcraft and I'd love to have something like that in WAR.
So if you're interested in trying out Warhammer Online, drop me a line.
Have a great day!
WCPI Week 2.
Whew. What a busy week. I haven't had enough time to dive into 1.2. I'll definitely have to remedy that in short order.
For this weeks WCPI shoutout I'd like to shed light on The Homunculus. A self-titled recovering WoW player, he shares my enthusiasm for random acheivements but even more than that he adds humor to his posts. From the very start I knew this blog was one to follow.
My post won't do any justice to his brilliant blog so I suggest you head right over and read it for yourself. You'll quickly be captured by the true joy he gets from playing. Even through all the ups and downs.
