Healer at Heart A healer's thoughts on MMO's.

An introduction.

Hello all!

Where to start ...

My first MMO began with Guild Wars.  Got two characters to max level (yes I know, only 20) when a friend showed me World of Warcraft.  Immediately switched over as soon as the free-trial was up.  That led to a fun 3+ years of making new friends and enjoying a fantastic game.   I eventually became burned out with all the drama and the feeling that I'd never catch up to all the hard-core content and players (there was just too much to do).  Months before I quit I got wind of a new MMO: Warhammer Online.  I started following all the news and found myself excited over anything posted about the game.  About a month before WAR was released I stopped playing WoW and enjoyed some time away from the computer.  Then WAR came and I've found something new and exciting to spend time on.

So now I have a rank 33 Archmage and a few lesser alts.  I am not ashamed to call myself and Altaholic!  I've found that healing brings the most joy to my gaming experience (and I actually enjoy leveling all healing archetypes).  I will every now and again sign in to one of my DPS characters just to have the satisfaction of creating mayhem for the Destruction healers, which I deal with on a daily bases when playing my Archmage.  A little payback never hurt anyone.

I consider myself a casual gamer.  I may play for many hours but I have neither the drive or the need to put so much into this game that it becomes a job.  I'm here to make friends an have an awesome game to come and relax to after work.

Nice meeting everyone and please remember to have fun!
